Refunds, Returns & Shipping Policy

At Chicka De Boom, we take great care to ensure every package is securely packed to prevent damage during transit.

Please note that Chicka De Boom takes no responsibility for any items damaged during shipping. If your order arrives damaged, it must be taken to your local Australia Post branch, where you can lodge a claim directly with them.

Once your parcel has been handed over to Australia Post, we no longer have control over delivery times or handling. Delivery speed, tracking updates, and any shipping-related issues fall under Australia Post’s responsibility.

International Shipping

International orders require a $25 AUD deposit at checkout. Once your parcel has been packed and weighed, you will be charged any additional shipping costs before the parcel is sent.

Please note that shipments to the United States incur a 10% tariff fee, which will be added to your total. Unfortunately, this fee is determined by U.S. customs and is beyond our control.

If you would like to add shipping insurance for extra protection, please contact us before checking out so we can arrange this for you.

No Refunds or Exchanges

Please choose your items and sizes carefully.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or incorrect item selection.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at chickadeboom@hotmail.com so we can assess the issue and make it right.

For items damaged during shipping, Chicka De Boom is not responsible. You will need to contact Australia Post directly and submit a damages claim with them.

Refunds (If Applicable)

Any orders refunded before shipment, packaging, or product creation will incur a $5 administration fee, which will be deducted from your refund amount.

Once we receive and inspect your return (if applicable), we will notify you whether your refund has been approved or declined.

If approved, your refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at chickadeboom@hotmail.com.

Live Sale Refunds

Deposits made during live wrap sales are non-refundable if you fail to pay your full invoice within the set time frame.

Exception: If you do not claim any items during the live sale, your full deposit will be refunded.
